GET TO KNOW DR. SPANNAGEL

Sarah Cain Spannagel, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Ohio. Dr. Spannagel received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from

Case Western Reserve University.

Dr. Spannagel has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. She was the consulting psychologist at University School in Shaker Heights for almost a decade. Currently, she is the consulting psychologist at Hathaway Brown.  She is the staff psychologist for the Rainbow Babies and Children Autism Diagnostic Clinic. Dr. Spannagel is faculty in Case Western Reserve University's Department of Psychological Sciences and Case Medical School Department of Pediatrics as well as faculty associate in the Schubert Center for Child Studies. 


Dr. Spannagel is a board member at Family Connections, a local non-profit which engages families with young children to nurture social connections, enhance child development, and improve school readiness. She also an active member of Vocational Guidance Services' Sunbeam Board. Vocational Guidance Services is a vocational rehabilitation agency with a mission to create pathways for individuals with disabilities to engage in the community, achieve greater independence, and attain employment.
